Submit an Abstract

Participants who wish to give a presentation (oral or poster) must submit their abstract(s) in conjuction with the registration. Abstracts should be, clear, concise and written in English with correct spelling and good sentence structure. When abstracts are submitted an author can choose whether a contribution should be a poster (choice "Poster") or is wanted to be an oral (choice "Oral", there is no guarantee that it will definitely become an oral). A maximum of two abstract can be submitted by an any author. Authors can not present more than one talk!

Abstract submission

Your abstract(s) must be submitted in conjuction with your Registration. The Scientific Committee for FORAMS 2010 will select submitted abstracts and determine whether they are accepted for oral presentation or poster presentation.

Abstract submission / Guidelines

Please read this information carefully: Only abstracts submitted by e-mail will be accepted (abstracts sent by regular post, or fax will not be accepted). English is the sole language accepted for abstracts. Abstracts should be, clear, concise and written in English with correct spelling and good sentence structure. The abstracts will be assessed by the Review Committee considering their relevance to the FORAMS 2010 session themes, concreteness of the subject (case studies, field experience), level of innovation and originality of the work, English language standards, objectivity of statements, conclusions confirmed and overall scientific value. It is important to keep in mind that FORAMS 2010 gives privilege to abstracts presenting concrete examples rather than general theoretical statements. Before submitting an abstract, please consult the FORAMS 2010 session themes. Your abstract(s) must be submitted in conjuction with your Registration. Once your abstract has been successfully submitted, you will receive an e-mail confirmation.

Technicalities

2600 characters (including visible and non-visible characters) is the maximum total length of abstracts; Tables, images and references can not be included in the abstract Abstracts that are accepted, and for which a presentation (oral or poster) has been confirmed, will be printed in the FORAMS 2010 Abstract Volume. This publication is distributed to all participants and will be available in pdf form on the conference website. The final decision concerning an abstract is taken by the Scientific Committee of FORAMS 2010.

DEADLINE

Abstracts must be submitted in conjunction with registration before May 14, 2010. Abstracts submitted after this date cannot be included in the printed abstract volume. Deadline for abstracts Friday Mayl 14, 2010.
